Scope of works:

This project commenced during the final stages of the base-building works for the wider Yagan Square development. Working alongside OPRA Projects we were required to coordinate between OPRA and base-builders requirements, further adding to the technicalities of working in a live and public facing environment.

Base-building delays hindered the already challenging time frame and many design changes were made due to a high level of client and design-team involvement. WAPE remained flexible, ensuring requested changes were made and time absorbed, where possible, into the already challenging programme.

• Supplied & installed electrical switchboards, switches, controls, and switchgear protection
• Installed complete wiring system for lighting, emergency lighting, power, communications & 3^rd party lighting control
• Cable pathways, enclosures and materials
• Power supplies to fixed appliances and equipment.
• Supplied & installed single point Emergency and Exit Lighting System complete with emergency test switch.
• Cat6 structured communications installation including a new 45ru communications rack to house communications, audio & security accessories
• Co-ordinated and interfaced with the Head Contractors’ commissioning programme and with all other trades.
• Co-ordinated with door interface trades to ensure that power requirements were appropriate.
• All final sub circuits.
• As constructed documentation & operation manuals.
